Mundane Meetings

By: Haley Littlepage

Over laundry and dishes

I offer humble greetings.

Praying for divine intervention

in mundane meetings.

Where my hands are busy

but my heart is still,

my spirit listens

for Your Will.

A gentle stirring

and a convicting word

comforts me;

my prayers were heard.

In simple places

God is leading.

How blessed are

these mundane meetings!

Dear Homemaker,

I pray this poem blesses you! I hope you remember that God can meet you in any circumstance or situation.

He doesn’t mind if your children are playing around your feet, if you’re folding a basket of laundry or cooking a family meal. He is with you and always ready to listen.

Humbly,
