I’m Haley!

I’m so humbled that you’re here. I’m a follower of Jesus Christ, wife, mother of three, homemaker, homeschooler, aspiring poet and an avid bookworm.

Here, you’ll find a look into our homeschooling journey. I’ll share DIYs, rhythms and routines, curriculum choices and reviews and more! I lean heavily on the methods of Charlotte Mason for our formal homeschooling (K-12) and the ideas of Dr. Maria Montessori for the early years (preschool). I do what works for our family and remain flexible to meet our current needs.

I’m a poet-in-the-works, so to speak. I don’t follow a specific method or style of writing. I simply write what comes to mind in hopes that it encourages other homemakers who find themselves in similar circumstances. There’s nothing formal about my style of poetry. I write the poems I love to read. They’re short, simple and rhyme like your favorite Dr. Seuss book.

I also share book reviews on all of my latest reads. I read mostly books catered toward a Christian worldview - I love topics like motherhood, homeschool, homesteading, Christian lifestyle, Christian romance, fiction and historical fiction.
